The self-stacking spiral freezer is a compact and hygienic freezer design. Compared to the traditional low tension spiral freezer, the self-stacking spiral freezer eliminates the rails supporting the belt, that means up to 50% more freezing output with the same foot print. The conveyors are almost 100% accessible to cleaning thanks the elimination of the belt rail and drum.The freezer has combined the state-of-the-art clean-in-place (CIP) system.
An open, easily cleanable and accessible design optimizes sanitation standards and decreases system downtime for cleaning and maintenance. This feature reduces contamination and extends the life of the equipment by preventing waste buildup and simplifying the cleaning process

 

1.Self-Stacking Belt

The self-stacking spiral freezer features self-stacking belt, chain driven system and vertical air flow. The food can be frozen in a shorter time and better quality. The self-stacking spiral freezer meets the highest hygiene and energy-efficiency standard.
The self-stacking belt is driven by chain system, operates completely on rolling balls. The resistance and noise caused by running chain is reduced, so smaller motors can drive the system. The belt is not in tension in run. The belt is less likely to be stretched and deformed. Self-stacking belt stacks on the top of each other's side links. This self-stacking feature eliminates the rails supporting the belt.
 

2.Self-contained Freezing Zone

The unique belt design contains the product in a self-contained freezing zone, for gentle and uniform handling and superior hygiene.
The vertical airflow of high velocity touches the product through all stacks, providing even, quick, efficient freezing result. The special holes on the sidelinks also introduce cold air into product zone and create turbulence.
This provides uniform product temperature across the belt and increases the heat exchanging efficiency.
The centrifugal fans on the top of the coil suck the cold air from the coil and push the high velocity air down through all belt tiers.

 

 

3.Efficient Evaporator

Our design was simulated with European professional heat exchanger software. All tubes are expanded hydraulically rather than mechanically, which improves heat exchange performance due to more uniform expansion and a tighter fit between tube and fin. Variable fin pitch is used to delay frost formation on the filn's surface. Longer frosting interval. Easy access and cleaning.
 

4.Air defrost system

The ADF blows pulses of pressurized air of high velcocity repeatedly over the evaporator fins while the products continue to run in the freezer.
The freezer inside temperature is more stable because of less frost on the fin.
Through to longer runtime, the production output is increased.
 

5.CIP(Cleaning-in-place)

The system cleans and disinfects the interior of the freezer completely to meet the sanitary requirements of food safety production.
 

6.Refrigeration System

Refrigeration Package is a main equipment for frozen food processing and cold chain industry, including: refrigerating compressors, pressure vessels, electrical elements and other accessories.

 

1. Self-stacking spiral freezer in Asia

   A self-stacking spiral freezer has been delivered to and installed in CP foods, the largest poultry processor in Asia. The self-stacking freezer has also equipped with CIP (clean in place) and ADF (air defrosting system). It can automatically clean the inside of the spiral freezer after each work shift, in order to keep the freezer meet the upmost hygiene standard for meat processing.  The ADF blows pulses of pressurized high velocity repeatedly over the evaporator fins while the products continue to run in the freezer. The frost can not built up and the heat transfer efficiency is significantly improved.
   The self-stacking spiral freezer can freeze 1500 kg/hr fried chicken parts. Square Technology has been the IQF supplier to CP foods for 20 years. 2.Self-stacking spiral freezer in Middle east

We are proud to deliver a successful self-stacking spiral freezer for 1 ton/hr chicken nuggets in Middle East. Square's team has overcome the travel restrictions during covid period to delivered and installed this self-stacking spiral freezer. The freezer were designed for 1 ton/hr chicken nugget production capacity, and the actual yield reached 1.3 ton/hr during test. The customer is very satisfied with the quality and performance of the spiral freezer.
